The original Peach Grove one room school house is in the background and can be seen on the stone on the top right.  Grandpa Howard went to school there with one teacher for 1st-8th grade.  True differentiated instruction had to take place but I don't think they used that terminology back in the day.  (Conni shown with her parents and two sisters)
